LEAD TALENT LTD. PRIVACY POLICY

Lead Talent is a Management Consultancy Company which provides clients with Consultancy Services, Talent Development Services, Talent Attraction Services, Brand, Design, Project Management Services and Talent Assessment Services. 

This Privacy Notice sets out how Lead Talent (the Data Controller) collects and uses your personal data. When we refer to “we”, “us” “our” or “controller” in this Privacy Notice we mean Lead Talent.

OUR DATA PROTECTION OFFICER CONTACT DETAILS

We do not have a legal obligation under GDPR to appoint a Data Protection Officer. However, a member of our team does oversee our data protection compliance with GDPR and DPA18. The various ways you can contact us to discuss any data protection issues or concerns are detailed above.

THE COLLECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

You may give your personal details to the company directly, such as by seeking services from us.  In some circumstances, your personal details may have been provided to us by another person in your company in order for us to offer and / or perform a contractual obligation between Lead Talent and your company. Your details may have been identified via publicly available sources in relation to your professional history (e.g. LinkedIn or your company website). 

THE LEGAL BASIS TO USE PERSONAL DATA

Lead Talent will collect your personal data and process your personal data, which may include sensitive data, for the purposes of providing you with our services. The legal basis we rely upon when providing and/or offering to provide these services to you are Contractual Obligation), Consent or Legitimate interests to process your personal data. 

KEEPING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION SECURE

Whilst we take steps to protect user privacy, you should be aware that, no data transmission over e-mail or the internet can be entirely secure and for this reason Lead Talent cannot guarantee the security of any personal information which is transferred from you or to you via email or the Internet. Any personal information you do send is at your own risk, but once we receive it, we use strict procedures to safeguard it.

Your personal information may be stored online and therefore we take steps to ensure that our systems are well protected. We limit access to your personal information to those who have a genuine business need. 

YOUR RIGHTS

Please be aware that you have the following data protection rights:

  2. The right of access to the personal data the Company processes on you; 
  3. The right to rectification of your personal data; 
  4. The right to erasure of your personal data in certain circumstances;

  • We do not undertake any solely automated decision making about you with the personal information we process.

CORRECTING MISTAKES IN YOUR RECORDS

Keeping relevant information is important to us. If the information we have is not current, or you feel the information is incorrect, please speak to your Lead Talent contact.

Where it is agreed that information is incorrect, it will be amended to show the correction with an explanation of the correction. If we disagree with you about the accuracy of a record, we may include a statement from you explaining this with your consent.

SALE OF BUSINESS / TRANSFER

If the Company’s business is sold or integrated with another business your details may be disclosed to our advisers and any prospective purchasers and their advisers and will be passed on to the new owners of the business. 

CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY NOTICE

We keep our Privacy Notice under review to ensure it remains accurate and up to date and we reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes to this policy will be posted on this site and you should endeavour to review the policy frequently.

HOW TO MAKE A COMPLAINT ABOUT US TO THE INFORMATION COMMISSIONER’S OFFICE

A.  IF YOU USE OUR CONSULTANCY SERVICES

WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE NEED?

We need to collect the following information from you:

  • Organisation name and postal address;
  • Name (first and last name) of individuals we are liaising with at your organisation;
  • Contact details of individuals we are liaising with at your organisation; and
  • Details of individuals who you have identified as participating in Consultancy services, these details may include:
    • Name (first and last name);
    • Email address;
    • Telephone number;
    • Job title;
    • Any other personal data you give to us that you feel is relevant for us to know

HOW DO WE GET YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We gather the details of the individual who is liaising with us from your organisation directly from them when they contact us to find out more about our consultancy services or a third party such as Social Media Platforms, or a recommendation (internal or external).

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

  • provide you with information about our consultancy services;
  • enter into a contract with you to enable us to provide consultancy services to your organisation;
  • deliver the consultancy services to your organisation, and individuals involved;
  • conduct follow up calls with you and staff members when necessary, to provide continued support;
  • process financial transactions relating to the purchase of consultancy services;

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

If we have not provided you/your company with services, or had contact with you (or, where appropriate, the company you are working for or with) for two consecutive years, your personal data will be deleted from our systems unless law or other regulation requires us to keep it longer. 

B.  IF YOU USE OUR TALENT ATTRACTION SERVICES

WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE NEED?

When you use our recruitment services we will collect some or all of the following types of personal data:

  • Name (first and last name)
  • Home address
  • Contact details (such as telephone, mobile, email address)
  • Date of birth
  • Qualifications
  • Previous work history
  • References from 3rd parties
  • Any other personal data you give to us that you feel is relevant for us to know

HOW DO WE GET YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We obtain personal data directly from you when you engage with us to either enquire about our services or to use one of our services, or through a recommendation. 

We may sometimes receive your personal data (which can include name, contact details) from other sources, these are:

  • Job boards
  • Social Media (for example, LinkedIn)
  • Please refer to the  ICO Guidance on legitimate interests for an explanation of how our recruitment services can legitimately use job boards and networking sites such as LinkedIn

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We may use and process your personal information where it is necessary for us to pursue our legitimate interests as a business for the purposes of providing you with recruitment services. This will include contacting you about job opportunities, updating our databases and putting you forward to clients for suitable job opportunities, other correspondence or communication between you and us, whether written, e-mailed, or as a result of visits, interviews and contacting former employers whom we may seek references from. If you do not give us personal data we need to collect we may not be able to continue to provide work-finding services to you. 

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Where we have been unsuccessful in placing you in a permanent booking, we will retain your data for three years from the date we created your record in our database. If we have placed you, we will retain your information for 5 years from the date of placement. Upon expiry of that period we will seek further consent from you. Where consent is not granted we will cease to process your personal data and sensitive personal data.

If we have not provided you/your company with services, or had contact with you (or, where appropriate, the company you are working for or with) for two consecutive years, your personal data will be deleted from our systems unless law or other regulation requires us to keep it longer. 

You always have the right to withdraw your consent to being registered with us. If you do not wish to be registered with us for work finding services, then please notify your contact at Lead Talent.

C.  IF YOU USE OUR TALENT DEVELOPMENT SERVICES

WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE NEED?

  • Organisation name and postal address;
  • Name (first and last name) of individual we are liaising with at your organisation;
  • Contact details of individuals we are liaising with at your organisation; and
  • Details of individual staff members who are attending the training sessions, this may include:
    • Name (first and last name);
    • Email address;
    • Telephone number;
    • Job title;
    • Other information as necessary for accredited training courses;
    • Any other personal data you give to us that you feel is relevant for us to know

HOW WE GET YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We gather the details of the individual who is liaising with us from your organisation directly from them when they contact us to find out more about our training packages or a third party such as Social Media Platforms, or a recommendation (internal or external).

The key contact from your organisation who is appointed to liaise with us to set up the training services will provide us with the necessary personal data of individual staff members who attending our training.

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

  • provide you with information about our training services;
  • enter into a contract with you to enable us to provide training services to your organisation;
  • deliver the training to your nominated staff members;
  • conduct follow up calls with you and staff members who have attended the training, to provide continued support when necessary and obtain feedback
  • process financial transactions relating to the purchase of the training services;

HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA

If we have not provided you/your company with services, or had contact with you, (or, where appropriate, the company you are working for or with) for two consecutive years, your personal data will be deleted from our systems unless law or other regulation requires us to keep it longer. 

D.  IF YOU USE OUR TALENT ASSESSMENT SERVICES

WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE NEED?

We need to collect the following information from you:

  • Organisation name and postal address;
  • Name (first and last name) of individuals we are liaising with at your organisation;
  • Contact details of individuals we are liaising with at your organisation; and
  • Details of individuals who you have identified for participating in assessment services, these details may include:
    • Name (first and last name);
    • Email address;
    • Telephone number;
    • Job title.

HOW WE GET YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We gather the details of the individual who is liaising with us from your organisation directly from them when they contact us to find out more about our assessment services or a third party such as Social Media Platforms, or a recommendation (internal and external).

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

  • provide you with information about our assessment services;
  • enter into a contract with you to enable us to provide the chosen assessment services to your organisation;
  • deliver the assessments to the individuals who you have identified for participating in assessment services (for on-line ability and psychometric assessments, we utilise the services of a third party. We will send you a link to participate in these assessments where you will have access to view their privacy policy in detail prior to taking any on-line assessments).
  • conduct follow up calls with you and staff members when necessary, to provide continued support;
  • process financial transactions relating to the purchase of assessment services;

HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA

If we have not provided you/your company with services, or had contact with you (or, where appropriate, the company you are working for or with) for two consecutive years, your personal data will be deleted from our systems unless law or other regulation requires us to keep it longer. 

E.  IF YOU USE OUR BRAND, DESIGN AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT SERVICES WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE NEED

We need to collect the following information from you:

  • Organisation name and postal address;
  • Name (first and last name) of individuals we are liaising with at your organisation and external suppliers, where relevant;
  • Contact details of individuals we are liaising with at your organisation; these details may include:
    • Name (first and last name);
    • Email address;
    • Telephone number;
    • Job title;
    • Any other personal data you give to us that you feel is relevant for us to know

HOW WE GET YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We gather the details of the individual who is liaising with us from your organisation directly from them when they contact us to find out more about our marketing services or a third party such as Social Media Platforms, or a recommendation (internal or external).

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

  • provide you with information about our services;
  • enter into a contract with you to enable us to provide services to your organisation;
  • deliver our services to your organisation;
  • process financial transactions relating to the purchase of our services;

HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We reserve the right to keep records relating to the provision of Brand, design and project management services to external organisations indefinitely, unless requested by you.

UTILISING MORE THAT ONE SERVICE

Due to the nature of our business and to support clients holistically, there may be occasions when you are introduced to further services. In these instances, we would ask that you refer to the relevant section in this policy for further information.

KEEPING YOU INFORMED

We may use your personal information where you have consented for us to do so, to:

  • Send you emails about the latest job opportunities (for recruitment service users)
  • Send you emails about Lead Talent News, such as new services and offerings
  • Send you e-mails about relevant industry news
  • Send any other information we feel may be useful to you as a client of Lead Talent.

VISITORS TO OUR WEBSITE

In operating our website, we, or our agents, may collect your personal data using various technologies, such as Internet Protocol (IP) addresses and Web logs; and Cookies.

We utilise Google analytics who use your IP address and/or web log information to collect and report aggregate information on how the site is being used and ways in which the site can be improved. As such, we do not collect any sensitive date through our website. 

CONTACT FORM

We will collect any information you provide to us when you use our contact forms. If you contact us, we will keep a record of that correspondence. Fields we request include but are not limited to: your first name, last name, company name, email address and telephone number.

DATA RETENTION

Data submitted via online contact form will be archived after 2 years, and kept for future 5 years with restricted access to it. 

COOKIES

We may obtain data about you from cookies. These are small text files that are placed on your computer by websites that you visit. They are widely used in order to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site. Cookies also enable us to deliver more personalised content.
